Trip to Cuba with Nat, Daorcey, Rob and Sareena. Went to Varadero, Cuba for a week in January 2004.
While there's tons of photos here, this is only a small, small selection from the 12 or so rolls I took (not to mention the rolls they all took.) Anyways, they're really out of order, so let me run down the trip a bit so some of this makes sense.
Our flight to Varadero was six hours late, so we spent way too much time in the airport and got into Cuba after dark.
Took two day trips. The first was to Havana, where our kick ass tour guide took us to the Morro Castle, Old Havana, the Havana Club Rum Museum, to a market in the newer part of the city, to Revolution Square and then back to the hotel, all with great running commentary, including the complete history of Cuba. Very Cool.
The second day trip was across the island (from the North side to the South) to a Crocodile farm, a heritage park-like Indian memorial place, to the Bay of Pigs and then to a small roadside zoo place.
We also went to Varadero a couple times just to look around and to shop, and hung out on the beach a lot.
